Club Rules:-

Opening times – the season will commence on or around the beginning of May and play will continue until the end of September (or as weather conditions dictate). The Club will be open to members every day from 10am to 8pm although grounds maintenance may occasionally necessitate temporary closure.

Booking arrangements – via either our email Saxlinghambowls@outlook.com our WhatsApp Group or Google Shared Calendar. Bookings may be made up to 2 weeks in advance of the selected date.

Bowls / Croquet –the green can be used for either croquet (up to two games at any one time) or bowls (up to 4 games as per pitch markings) as per the table below. The rinks require pre-booking into the calendar.

Open Club Sessions – (as indicated in pink below). All members are welcome to attend by simply adding their name to the calendar, for either bowls or croquet as indicated below. If these sessions are popular, more will be built into the calendar.

Special Events – will be held over the season. These will be announced, in advance, through our Newsletter.

Club Hut – members will be advised of a combination code, Please secure after use and leave the hut as you would wish to find it.

Dress Code – please wear flat-soled shoes (eg trainers) to protect the playing surface. No heels.

Dogs – We appreciate your understanding that the club operates a no-dogs policy.
